Christmas at Birmingham Botanical Gardens

IGers Birmingham were lucky enough to be some of the first people to enjoy Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ new after-dark Christmas-lights experience which opened last week. The 50 lucky IGers braved the cold temperatures to see the trees and glasshouses which were lit as part of a special light-display by entertainment promoter Raymond Gubbay Ltd.

There was plenty to photograph and enjoy: lights and lamps of all shapes, sizes and forms, as well as music, fire, a fairground, toasted marshmallows, and Father Christmas himself. A selection of the Gardens’ favourite images can be seen in this blog post (visit their page to see the original versions). All of the images taken at the event can be found at #igb_meet_bbgchristmaslights.
